Conexus has also become a certified member of IBM closed distribution for these products. Building upon the companies growing capability in the IBM Infosphere information management portfolio, Conexus is now offering services in the ETL/Datastage/Qualitystage area. These are the products IBM acquired as part of the recent Ascential acquisition. In addition, focus has been given to the Change Data Capture product (Datamirror) . This product is of specific interest to many organisations due to its low impact footprint and capability to provide effective real time replication - without a major performance hit on production systems. Following involvement in multiple MDM projects, Conexus has now launched an MDM for PIM solution for the Midmarket. Code named \"Forte\" this solution has been tailored specifically for those organisations requiring a robust PIM solution but not having the budget for an enterprise scale deployment. Infosphere MDM for PIM solutions will provide benefits in the areas of: - Speed to market for products. - Reduction in error correction, improvement in accuracy. - Reduction in cost of data maintenance. - Clarity of responsibility supporting data management processes across the organisation. Conexus has worked with IBM Software Servcies to define the dimensions of a template based solution that is repeatable and suitable for provision as a hosted and managed solution. The business driver behind the project is the internationalisation of the customer business and the requirement for enhanced efficiency in collaboration across and within business units - Supporting such activities as global key account management and process optimisation. The work involves architectural design, interface definition (working with business units) and interface development WebSphere Portal with Lotus Connections, Quickr and Sametime.

Conexus has recently completed a secure self-service portal for a major organisation in the waste management arena. The solution was based upon IBM WebSphere Portal and incorporated Cognos reporting. This portal is a key part of the organisations ongoing strategy to offer enhanced and competitive levels of information to their customers. Now customers can log in and see key metrics about the service they are receiving. In the future, it is intended to enhance the solution with on-line forms (based upon Lotus Forms) and more extensive reporting capability using the Cognos suite. Conexus provided the implementation services for the project and project management.
